Bioinspired nanochannels based on polymeric membranes

Bio-nanochannels in living organisms participate the physiological activities by selectively transporting ions through cell membranes. The structure and function of biological ion channels inspire development artificial nanochannels with practical applications. bioinspired based on polymer materials present good mechanical stability, high-performance transport designability, which have attracted much attention. In this review, we mainly focus fabrication application polymer-based biomimetic especially environmentally responsive biosensor energy conversion. We firstly introduce basic understanding regulation osmotic Then, discuss methods highlight their advantages compared other materials. applications nanochannels, conversion biosensor, are detailedly discussed. Finally, summarize unsolved problems overview further developing direction field.
